Happy New Year – Thanks for a great 2017!
Hi everyone,
Erica and I are so grateful that you’ve supported us during the year as we build our farm business. We both want to thank you for your love and support to help us grow. We are really excited to have you along with us as we turn the calendar to 2018!
Looking at the past year, some highlights include:
- Raising heritage breed turkeys and processing them for Thanksgiving
- Expanding our laying flock and producing quality eggs for the local market
- Building the gardens so we can ramp up vegetable production
- Developing an online presence with our website, online store, and social media outlets
- Partnering with Verde Organic Body to support holistic health and fitness – check them out!
For 2018 we will continue to grow and want you to know about what we’re planning for the upcoming year.
- Fresh eggs – we’re selling eggs by the half or whole dozen plus are offering egg subscriptions again. Learn more about our 25 week subscription at our online farm store.
- Broilers available in the second half of the year. These chickens will be pasture raised and fed non-GMO organic feed – why buy factory farmed meat?
- Limited number of heritage turkeys may be available in time for Thanksgiving…
- 20 week CSA shares available now! – Buy a share of the vegetables grown during the 2018 season. CSA allows you to participate directly in the farm and share in the risks and rewards involved in vegetable production.
- Events! We’ll be having a number of planned events at the farm including work parties, farm tours, and more!
